Plans are moving forward for the fourth Mansfield University Concert Choir Alumni Reunion to be held on campus from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, November 5 to 7, 2010!
The program of selections is now firm, and you will be able to purchase the selections from University Music Service by calling Ross or Carl at 800-858-3000. They will need your address and a credit card and will mail the packet directly to you!
A lovely reception is planned for Friday evening to be held at the Lambs Creek Food & Spirits Restaurant right across from the Comfort Inn, where a block of rooms is held in the name “MU Concert Choir Reunion.” The hotel address is 300 Gateway Drive and their direct phone is 570-662-3000. Our Saturday evening buffet in North Manser Dining Hall will include a video presentation of some of our great performances and fun times in the ensemble.
You will receive an invitation with specific details about all of the events sometime in April. Registration forms will be included. In the meantime, put the dates in ink in your calendar and spread the word!

The Mansfield University Concert Choir will be celebrating 45 remarkable years of the ensemble with a weekend of activities scheduled to be held on campus November 5-7, 2010. Mark your calendar and plan to recapture the spirit you shared during your collegiate years at Mansfield!
Events planned for the reunion gathering include Music Department concerts, choral rehearsals, a reception and banquet, and the Gala Reunion Concert as the highlight of the weekend. This special concert will be comprised of the current MU Concert Choir and the Reunion Choir performing “An American Choral Portrait,” a program featuring music by American composers.
Between 65 and 90 alumni singers attended the previous reunions held in 1995, 2000 and 2005 and had a wonderful time getting reacquainted, reminiscing and making music together. This next reunion promises to bring back an even greater number of alumni to join us in recreating that special Concert Choir camaraderie.
